we require

At New Mom Guru, we only hire licensed physicians. To be a part of our team, you must be a:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist
  • Registered Dietitian
  • Certified Lactation Consultant or International Board Certified Lactation Consultant
  • CD(DONA); Certified Doula (Doulas of North America)
  • PCD(DONA); Postpartum Certified Doula (Doulas of North America) 
  • LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)

 

Getting Paid

our payment structure

Careers at New Mom Guru include three different pay options:

  1. The first way to earn is a flat visit rate. For most providers, this includes a higher evaluation/initial consultation rate and a lower follow up visit rate. For quality assurance, we ask that ALL evaluations last at least 45 minutes, and that ALL follow up visits last at least 30 minutes.
  2. The second way to earn is with the Buddy Bonus! The Buddy Bonus acts as a referral/training incentive. As a current employee at NMG, you will already possess unique knowledge in terms of how our company functions, but also how telehealth works.

    We see value in peer learning, and believe that combining our formal training program with a more casual, “buddy system” will improve the onboarding process for new hires and ultimately create happier employees and customers.

    For the Buddy Bonus, you will receive a 5% bonus for any revenue a new employee (hired based on your personal recommendation/recruitment efforts) produces over their first 90 days of employment.
    This has excellent potential, and based on preliminary calculations it may add up to a substantial amount! This will be paid out upon the completion of the new hire’s 90-day training period.

  3. The third way to earn is by participating in Webinars. At NMG, we plan to produce semi-regular webinars, focusing on a variety of interesting content (What is Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy?, Breastfeeding 101, Confessions of a Delivery Room RN, New Mommy Nutrition, Caring for a New Mom, and other related topics). These are optional, and we offer $100 for your participation of each online webinar.
